Position overview

Our client is seeking a junior to midlevel associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its New York White Collar and Investigations practice. The role combines internal investigations, government inquiries, interactions with criminal and civil authorities, and complex commercial litigation.

The Work

  • Conduct internal investigations, helping assess and develop matters involving potential legal or regulatory concerns.
  • Assist with responses to government inquiries and participate in interactions with criminal and civil authorities.
  • Support complex commercial litigation, including matters involving securities, commodities, and financial transactions.
  • Contribute to investigations and related disputes involving complex commercial and financial subject matter.
  • Work across investigative and litigation assignments in the New York White Collar and Investigations practice.

What You Bring

  • Two to four years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in white collar matters, investigations, and complex commercial litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities suited to investigative and litigation work.
  • Ability to contribute to internal investigations and responses to government inquiries.
  • A top-tier law school degree and strong academic credentials are required.
  • Law review, moot court, or journal experience is required.
  • Federal court clerkship and large law firm experience are strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated compensation range is $235,000-$365,000, and the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
