Our client is seeking an associate with at least three years of healthcare regulatory experience to advise on reimbursement questions and support sophisticated transactions in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. This opportunity brings together detailed regulatory analysis, deal work, and engagement with a diverse range of companies and investors.
The Work
- Advise healthcare and life sciences clients on reimbursement compliance and on coding, coverage, and payment for novel products and services.
- Assess regulatory profiles in transactions and conduct due diligence focused on identifying and evaluating significant healthcare regulatory risks.
- Support transactional matters by contributing to deal documentation and participating in negotiation across emerging-company, private equity, M&A, capital markets, and other financing contexts.
- Work with corporate teams and clients to address regulatory issues in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, securities offerings, IPOs, and venture capital investments.
- Counsel companies and investors in healthcare, life sciences, digital health, and technology on regulatory matters connected to their business objectives.
- Bring a business-focused perspective to regulatory questions involving healthcare services and innovative products.
What You Bring
- At least three years of experience in healthcare regulatory law.
- Experience advising on reimbursement matters, including reimbursement compliance and coding, coverage, and payment for novel products or services.
- Experience with transactional due diligence, deal documentation, and negotiation.
- Exposure to emerging-company, private equity, M&A, capital markets, or other healthcare-related transactions.
- Fraud and abuse counseling and compliance experience preferred.
- Outstanding analytical and writing skills.
- Interest in contributing to a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced practice.
