Our client is seeking a mid-to-senior-level associate for its finance practice in Palo Alto or Los Angeles. The opportunity offers substantial drafting and negotiation work across core loan documents, with a preference for candidates bringing four years of experience and strong general finance skills.
The Work
- Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, security agreements, and other loan documents for general finance matters.
- Work through financing documentation from initial drafting to negotiated terms, applying sound judgment and attention to detail to support transaction execution.
- Address secured lending issues and UCC matters as part of the broader documentation process.
- Bring general corporate experience to financing work and coordinate related considerations across the relevant loan documents.
- Contribute experience in data center or digital infrastructure matters where applicable; this sector exposure is a plus for the role.
What You Bring
- Approximately four years of relevant experience; candidates from the 2019–2022 associate class years are sought.
- General finance experience, including drafting and negotiating financing documents.
- Experience with commitment papers, credit agreements, security agreements, and other loan documents.
- UCC experience and a foundation in general corporate work.
- High academic achievement.
- Experience at a peer firm is preferred.
- Data center or digital infrastructure experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated starting base salary range is $310,000–$420,000, and associates may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
