Our client is seeking a 4–6 year associate to join an established, dynamic national practice advising technology companies at every stage of growth. This opportunity combines hands-on commercial and intellectual property transactions with the chance to contribute to the continued development of a growing practice.
The Work
- Structure, draft, and negotiate intellectual property and commercial agreements for information technology companies, including license, services, development, distribution, and partnering agreements.
- Work on transactions for technology businesses at different stages of growth, helping clients establish and manage important commercial relationships.
- Handle intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including the IP workstream within broader multidisciplinary transactions.
- Advise on intellectual property issues in public offerings and financings, coordinating transaction work across relevant disciplines.
- Contribute to an established national practice group as it continues to build and grow.
What You Bring
- Four to six years of experience in intellectual property transactions.
- A strong interest in building a practice focused on intellectual property and commercial transactions.
- Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial and IP agreements.
- Ability to work on license, services, development, distribution, and partnering agreements for technology companies.
- Superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- A technical or science background is beneficial but not required.
- Digital health experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $310,000–$390,000, based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
