This Austin-based opportunity combines sophisticated commercial work with a role in helping a dynamic practice continue to grow.
The Work
- Structure, draft, and negotiate intellectual property and commercial agreements for information technology companies, including licenses, services, development, distribution, and partnering arrangements.
- Work on agreements that support technology businesses and their commercial relationships, contributing across drafting and negotiation.
- Handle intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including multidisciplinary transactions involving technology companies.
- Advise on intellectual property issues arising in public offerings, financings, and other multidisciplinary transactions.
- Collaborate with attorneys across a national team and contribute to the continued growth of an established practice.
What You Bring
- At least six years of experience, with a background in intellectual property transactions.
- Strong interest in a practice focused on intellectual property and commercial transactions.
- Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating technology-related commercial agreements.
- Excellent legal judgment and the ability to work effectively as part of a national team.
- Superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- A technical or science background is beneficial but not required.
- Digital health experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $390,000–$435,000, based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
