Our client seeks an attorney with at least six years of experience to join its Information Technology-focused group in Seattle. The work centers on intellectual property and commercial matters for technology companies at different stages of growth, with opportunities to contribute to a national practice.
The Work
- Structure, draft, and negotiate intellectual property and commercial agreements for information technology companies, including license, services, development, distribution, and partnering agreements.
- Work through negotiations on commercial and intellectual property arrangements, collaborating with technology-company clients and counterparties on transaction terms.
- Handle intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, contributing to multidisciplinary transactions involving technology businesses.
- Advise on IP components of public offerings and financings, coordinating this work with the broader transaction teams.
- Contribute to matters involving technology companies at different stages of growth and help build and grow an established national practice group.
What You Bring
- At least six years of legal experience, with experience in intellectual property transactions.
- A strong interest in a practice focused on intellectual property and commercial transactions.
- Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial and intellectual property agreements.
- Superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a national team; an interest in training associates is valued.
- A technical or science background is beneficial but not required; digital health experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $390,000–$435,000 based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
