Position overview

Our client is seeking a Technology M&A Senior Associate in Boston with 3–6 years of experience. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to transactions involving technology companies at different stages of growth and to work with venture capital investor clients.

The Work

  • Collaborate with deal teams on mergers and acquisitions involving early- and late-stage technology companies.
  • Independently manage assigned components of transactions, taking ownership of defined workstreams while coordinating with the broader team.
  • Contribute to M&A matters involving leading venture capital investor clients, drawing on experience representing investors in transactional work.
  • Proactively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships to support effective coordination throughout transactions.

What You Bring

  • Three to six years of relevant legal experience.
  • Significant experience working on mergers and acquisitions.
  • Experience working collaboratively on transaction teams and independently managing transaction components.
  • Experience with early- and late-stage technology companies is preferred.
  • Experience representing leading venture capital investor clients is preferred.
  • A proactive approach, strong business sense, and the ability to manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

The supplied compensation figure is an estimate of $260,000–$390,000 based on the 2026 Cravath base scale; it is not confirmed firm-stated compensation.
