Position overview

Our client is seeking a mid-level associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Technology group in Redwood City, with a focus on capital markets. The practice works on public company matters and registered equity offerings, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.

The Work

  • Contribute to public company matters involving registered equity offerings, working across offering-process components from preparation through completion.
  • Support IPOs, including work connected to the underwriting process and the documentation and other components of an offering.
  • Assist with follow-on offerings, including related offering materials, opinions, and comfort-letter workstreams.
  • Work on underwriting-process matters and coordinate the offering components relevant to each transaction.

What You Bring

  • Three to six years of experience in capital markets or a closely related practice.
  • Experience working on public company matters.
  • Experience with registered equity offerings, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
  • Familiarity with the underwriting process, comfort letters, opinions, and other components of the offering process.
  • A prior focus on life sciences or technology is not required.
