Our client is seeking a tax associate with 4–8 years of experience to join a national transactional tax practice advising technology, life sciences, and growth enterprises at every stage of development. The work covers federal tax law and offers exposure to a broad range of transactions and commercial arrangements.
The Work
- Support clients on federal tax matters across the life cycle of technology, life sciences, and other growth enterprises.
- Advise on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, contributing to transactional work for clients and their businesses.
- Work on capital markets and corporate finance matters, including tax issues associated with equity financings.
- Assist with technology transfers, complex licensing matters, and collaboration arrangements.
- Contribute to domestic and international tax planning for clients with varied business needs.
- Collaborate across departments to support clients on transactional and planning matters.
What You Bring
- Four to eight years of tax experience.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate finance is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal tax law and transactional tax matters.
- Experience or capability in equity financings, technology transfers, complex licensing, or collaboration arrangements is preferred.
- Ability to contribute to domestic and international tax planning matters.
- Superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $310,000–$435,000 based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses potentially available.
