Our client is seeking a commercial real estate attorney to join a collaborative Los Angeles team handling sophisticated transactions across multiple asset classes. The position offers direct client contact, substantial hands-on responsibility, and opportunities to work on complex, high-profile matters.
The Work
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and other commercial real estate transaction documents.
- Manage due diligence, including reviewing and analyzing title materials and surveys, and help identify issues that affect a transaction.
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, development projects, and leasing matters from inception through closing.
- Coordinate transaction closings and address post-closing matters, maintaining attention to detail across multiple active assignments.
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and consultants throughout the course of matters.
- Work with developers, investors, lenders, landlords, tenants, and other market participants across a broad range of asset classes.
- Collaborate with attorneys in corporate, finance, land use, and hospitality practices on matters involving related legal and business issues.
What You Bring
- At least three years of relevant commercial real estate experience at a law firm.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in California or eligibility to waive into the California Bar.
- Experience handling sophisticated real estate transactions from inception through closing.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to work on purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related instruments.
- Sound analytical skills and the ability to assess transaction due diligence, including title and survey materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple matters and contribute effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated annual salary range is $225,000–$330,000; a comprehensive benefits package is available, and full-time employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
