Our client is seeking an associate with 3–8 years of law firm experience to work on sophisticated real estate lending transactions in Cleveland. The practice is closely integrated across the U.S., and the role offers significant responsibility, collaboration, and direct client interaction.
The Work
- Work on sophisticated real estate lending transactions as part of a nationally integrated practice.
- Draft and negotiate documents for lending matters, exercising meaningful responsibility for substantive work.
- Engage directly with clients and contribute to the team's client-facing work.
- Collaborate with colleagues across a practice integrated among offices throughout the U.S. Work on balance-sheet bank lending matters where applicable; this experience is preferred but not required.
What You Bring
- Three to eight years of law firm experience.
- Experience working on sophisticated real estate lending transactions.
- Excellent drafting skills and the ability to prepare transaction documents.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Superior academic background.
- A collaborative approach and desire to work as part of a team.
- Interest in taking on significant responsibility and engaging directly with clients.
- Balance-sheet bank lending experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated expected salary range for Cleveland is $260,000–$550,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
