The Work
- Contribute to private equity transactions spanning initial investment through exit, serving sponsor clients and their portfolio companies across the deal lifecycle.
- Work on complex cross-border carve-outs, coordinating transactional considerations across jurisdictions and supporting execution on sophisticated matters.
- Assist with tax-free spin-offs and multi-billion-dollar going-private transactions, gaining exposure to significant and complex deal structures.
- Support clients pursuing industry-focused, growth equity, large-cap, and middle-market strategies, with work shaped by a broad range of fund approaches.
- Draw on an integrated platform spanning M&A, private equity finance, fund formation, and capital markets to help deliver coordinated transaction support.
What You Bring
- At least two years of experience handling private equity transactions; the opportunity is aimed at attorneys with approximately three to six years of experience.
- Experience advising private equity clients and/or their portfolio companies on transactional matters.
- Knowledge of private equity deal work across the investment lifecycle, from initial investment through exit.
- Ability to contribute to complex M&A and private equity matters, including transactions involving multiple jurisdictions or intricate structures.
- Interest or experience in working across a range of private equity strategies, including growth equity, large-cap, middle-market, or industry-focused funds.
