Our client is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate for a corporate practice focused on Project Energy & Transition work, with a particular emphasis on mining infrastructure. The position is open to candidates in New York, Houston, Los Angeles, or Washington, D.C.
The Work
- Take significant involvement in financing transactions for mining infrastructure projects, contributing to matters across the project finance lifecycle.
- Work on debt finance matters connected to mining infrastructure and energy-transition projects.
- Participate in offtake transactions, supporting commercial arrangements tied to project output.
- Contribute to M&A matters involving the mining infrastructure and energy-transition sectors.
- Work on joint venture transactions within the practice's mining infrastructure focus.
- Support renewable energy transactions as part of a broader corporate energy and transition practice.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of experience, consistent with a mid- to senior-level associate profile.
- Significant involvement in mining infrastructure matters.
- Experience with financing transactions and debt finance.
- Experience with one or more offtakes, M&A, joint ventures, or renewable energy transactions.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Comparable law firm or in-house experience is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Candidates may reside in New York, Houston, Los Angeles, or Washington, D.C. The supplied compensation range of $260,000–$390,000 is an estimate based on the 2026 Cravath base scale and is not firm-stated compensation.
