Position overview

Our client is seeking a 1–7 year attorney to advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters within corporate and technology transactions in Wilmington, Delaware. The practice works with private and public companies of all sizes across a range of industries.

The Work

  • Advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters arising in corporate and technology transactions, contributing to work across the full range of these issues.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions by addressing transactional privacy and data matters as part of corporate deal work.
  • Work on public offerings and other commercial and strategic transactions, applying privacy and cybersecurity knowledge in varied transactional settings.
  • Counsel private and public companies of all sizes across industries that include artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech.

What You Bring

  • Between 1 and 7 years of legal experience.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, technology transactions, or other transactional work is required.
  • A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
  • Superior academic credentials are required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience with technology industries, regulatory policy, or enforcement is desirable.
  • CIPP certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $225,000–$420,000, based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
