Our client is seeking a mid-level associate in Palo Alto to join a collaborative privacy litigation team working on cutting-edge issues for sophisticated companies and innovative start-ups across technology, media, retail, and other sectors.
The Work
- Handle substantive work across pretrial litigation, including briefing, written discovery, document production, and depositions.
- Analyze and interpret laws and regulations relevant to privacy litigation, and contribute to case strategy.
- Work collaboratively with clients on litigation matters, applying a client-centered approach to legal analysis and problem-solving.
- Support matters involving companies in the technology, retail, media, and other sectors, including innovative start-ups and sophisticated businesses.
- Apply knowledge of federal and Texas civil procedure to litigation tasks and case development.
- Communicate legal analysis and litigation developments clearly in writing and in discussions with clients and colleagues.
What You Bring
- Four to six years of litigation experience, with experience and enthusiasm for all stages of pretrial litigation.
- Strong briefing, written discovery, document production, and deposition experience.
- Ability to analyze and interpret laws and regulations and contribute to litigation strategy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to excellent client service and a client-centered practice, with an interest in technology and collaborative client work.
- Familiarity with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Superior academic credentials and experience at a top AmLaw firm.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated compensation range is $260,000-$420,000, and the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k), medical, dental and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid holidays, and family care benefits.
