Our client is seeking an experienced litigator to take on meaningful responsibility in complex disputes for companies and institutions across a diverse range of industries. This San Francisco opportunity combines direct client interaction, close collaboration with experienced litigators, and exposure to matters involving technology, financial services, healthcare, and more.
The Work
- Manage and support commercial litigation matters through all phases in state and federal courts, contributing to case planning and execution.
- Research legal issues and draft substantive motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials for complex disputes.
- Conduct fact investigation and document review, and prepare witnesses for depositions and other proceedings.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations, and assist with trial preparation and related case work.
- Work with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy and case-management plans, with direct involvement in client communications.
- Coordinate effectively with opposing counsel, experts, clients, and internal teams as matters advance.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and efforts to strengthen client relationships.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of relevant commercial litigation experience in a law firm or comparable legal environment, with at least three years required.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in California or eligibility to waive into the California Bar.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience drafting dispositive motions, managing discovery, and preparing for depositions.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Prior trial, arbitration, or evidentiary hearing experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated annual salary range is $225,000–$330,000, with actual pay adjusted based on job-related factors; an annual discretionary bonus may be available, and eligible full-time employees may have access to a comprehensive benefits package.
