A growing litigation practice is seeking a midlevel associate in New York City to take on substantive work in complex disputes for financial institutions and fintech clients. The role offers immediate involvement in active matters, close collaboration with experienced partners, and direct client exposure.
The Work
- Manage substantive aspects of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and regulatory proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other filings, contributing to case strategy and written advocacy.
- Handle discovery, including document review and written discovery, and help develop the factual record.
- Prepare witnesses and support deposition preparation, hearings, and trial strategy.
- Participate in case management and client counseling, working directly with clients on day-to-day litigation needs.
- Collaborate across litigation and financial services teams on sophisticated disputes and enforcement matters.
What You Bring
- Three or more years of experience handling complex securities and/or financial services litigation.
- Experience managing day-to-day litigation responsibilities and working directly with clients.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Admission to the New York bar required for the New York City position.
- Government agency experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual salary range is $215,000–$290,000, with actual pay adjusted based on job-related factors; eligible full-time employees may also receive comprehensive benefits and an annual discretionary bonus.
