Our client is seeking a San Francisco corporate associate with 3–6 years of U.S. law firm experience to advise private companies and investors on venture capital and growth equity financings, while providing ongoing counsel to private companies. The role offers substantial responsibility and significant interaction with clients on local and national teams.
The Work
- Represent companies in venture capital and growth equity financings, contributing to matters from the company perspective.
- Advise investors in venture capital and growth equity financings, bringing experience and judgment to the investor-side work.
- Provide day-to-day counseling to private companies on ongoing legal and business matters.
- Take ownership of projects and work collaboratively with colleagues on local and national client teams.
- Maintain significant client interaction and contribute directly to client service across financing and counseling engagements.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of U.S. experience at a large law firm or a sophisticated midsize law firm.
- Significant experience representing both companies and investors in venture capital financings.
- Significant experience representing both companies and investors in growth equity financings.
- Experience providing day-to-day counseling to private companies.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and work effectively with team members and clients.
- Interest and ability to contribute to local and national client teams through substantial client interaction.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $260,000–$495,000, with actual salary based on qualifications and relevant experience.
