Position overview

Our client is seeking two mid-level associates for its Washington, D.C. office. This opportunity is designed for attorneys with 2–5 years of relevant corporate experience, including experience in one or more areas spanning investment activity, capital formation, transactions, and public markets.

The Work

  • Apply relevant corporate experience to matters in one or more of the practice areas identified for this opening, with the work mix reflecting your background and the team's needs.
  • Contribute to private equity matters, bringing experience in this area to the team's corporate practice.
  • Support venture capital work and matters involving companies and investment activity in this practice area.
  • Bring relevant experience to initial public offering matters and other public-market work.
  • Contribute experience in mergers and acquisitions to transactional matters handled by the practice.
  • Work in securities or public finance matters where your experience aligns with the team's needs.

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of relevant corporate experience.
  • Experience in one or more of private equity, venture capital, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, securities, or public finance.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $235,000–$365,000, based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses potentially available.
