Our client is seeking an associate with 3–6 years of experience to work on mining infrastructure matters spanning financing, corporate transactions, and renewable energy. This opportunity combines a broad mix of sophisticated deal types within a Project Energy & Transition practice.
The Work
- Contribute to mining infrastructure matters, drawing on experience with financing transactions and the range of corporate work involved in these projects.
- Work on debt finance transactions connected to mining infrastructure, bringing relevant financing experience to the practice.
- Participate in offtake matters related to mining projects and infrastructure.
- Support M&A and joint venture transactions involving the mining sector.
- Work on renewable energy transactions as part of a practice that also handles mining infrastructure and financing matters.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of relevant legal experience.
- Significant involvement in mining infrastructure matters.
- Experience with financing transactions, including debt finance.
- Experience with offtakes, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Experience with renewable energy transactions is sought as part of the stated mix of relevant work.
- Stellar academic credentials; comparable law firm or in-house experience is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
The estimated salary range is $260,000–$390,000, based on the 2026 Cravath base scale; it is an estimate rather than firm-stated compensation.
