Position overview

Our client is seeking an attorney with 1–7 years of experience to advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity issues in corporate and technology transactions. The team counsels private and public companies across industries that include AI and machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech.

The Work

  • Advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters arising in mergers and acquisitions, including the issues that surface as companies evaluate and execute transactions.
  • Support public offerings and other capital markets matters by addressing privacy and data-related considerations in the transaction context.
  • Counsel on technology transactions and other commercial and strategic deals, applying privacy and cybersecurity analysis to the circumstances of each matter.
  • Work with private and public companies of all sizes across AI and machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech.
  • Address the full range of privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity issues connected to corporate and technology transactions.

What You Bring

  • 1–7 years of legal experience, with experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, technology transactions, or other transactional work required.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with technology industries is desirable.
  • Experience with regulatory policy and enforcement is desirable.
  • CIPP certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $225,000–$420,000 based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses potentially available.
