Our client is seeking a 4–6 year litigation associate to work on consequential disputes at the intersection of constitutional law and emerging media technologies. In this Seattle-based practice, you can help address legal questions shaping how technology platforms operate while collaborating closely with experienced partners and clients.
The Work
- Analyze how First Amendment protections apply to new and evolving media technologies, developing clear legal positions on complex constitutional questions.
- Play a significant role in platform defense litigation, helping technology companies respond to high-profile claims and disputes.
- Contribute to affirmative constitutional challenges, from developing case strategy to advancing arguments in matters with potential to shape the law.
- Handle matters involving Section 230, regulatory enforcement, and related issues affecting media and technology platforms.
- Work directly with partners and clients, taking on meaningful responsibility while contributing to collaborative case teams.
What You Bring
- Four to six years of relevant litigation experience.
- Excellent legal analysis, research, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases and manage detail-intensive work.
- Strong interest in developing subject matter expertise in First Amendment law, media technology, or related areas.
- Creative, solutions-oriented judgment and the ability to anticipate client needs.
- Proactive approach, sound client-service instincts, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and junior team members.
- Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual salary range is $225,000–$330,000, with actual pay adjusted for job-related factors; eligible full-time employees may receive benefits and an annual discretionary bonus.
