Our client is seeking a midlevel litigator to take on significant work at the intersection of constitutional law and emerging media technologies. In this Los Angeles opportunity, you will collaborate with partners and clients on high-profile matters that help shape the legal framework for a fast-evolving industry.

The Work

  • Represent leading technology companies in high-profile litigation involving emerging media technologies and the legal questions those technologies raise.
  • Analyze how First Amendment and other constitutional protections apply to new and evolving media platforms and services.
  • Take a significant role in platform defense cases, contributing to litigation strategy and the development of arguments in complex matters.
  • Help pursue affirmative constitutional challenges involving laws or regulatory actions affecting media technology.
  • Work on Section 230 and regulatory enforcement matters, collaborating closely with partners and clients throughout the litigation.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise while taking on meaningful responsibility and contributing to client-focused solutions.

What You Bring

  • Four to six years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience handling complex cases and the ability to manage detailed legal issues.
  • Interest in developing expertise in First Amendment law, media technology, or related constitutional issues.
  • Ability to assess how constitutional protections apply to emerging technologies and communicate legal analysis clearly.
  • Proactive approach, sound judgment, and commitment to excellent client service.
  • Collaborative working style, including comfort partnering with clients and colleagues and mentoring junior team members.
  • Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $225,000–$330,000, with actual pay based on job-related factors; eligible full-time employees may also qualify for an annual discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
