Our client is seeking a mid-level lawyer in Dallas to work on sophisticated real estate lending transactions as part of a practice closely integrated across the United States. The role offers significant responsibility, drafting and negotiation work, and direct client interaction.
The Work
- Work on sophisticated real estate lending transactions, contributing to matters from document development through negotiation.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, applying sound judgment and close attention to deal details.
- Engage with clients on financing matters and support their needs through clear communication and responsive work.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a nationally integrated real estate finance practice.
- Contribute to balance-sheet bank lending matters where relevant; prior exposure to this work is preferred but not required.
What You Bring
- Three to eight years of law firm experience working on sophisticated real estate lending transactions.
- Strong drafting skills and the ability to negotiate transaction documents effectively.
- A superior academic background.
- A collaborative approach and desire to work as part of a team.
- Interest in taking on significant responsibility and interacting directly with clients.
- Exposure to balance-sheet bank lending work is preferred, but not required.
