Position overview

Our client is seeking an attorney with 1–7 years of experience to help companies address privacy, data-processing, and cybersecurity considerations in mergers, public offerings, and commercial and strategic transactions. The practice spans technology-driven industries and advises both private and public companies.

The Work

  • Advise on privacy, data-processing, and cybersecurity matters that arise in corporate and technology transactions.
  • Work on mergers and acquisitions, including transaction-related privacy and data issues.
  • Support public offerings and advise on relevant privacy, data-processing, and cybersecurity considerations.
  • Counsel on other commercial and strategic transactions, working with private and public companies of varied sizes.
  • Engage with matters involving artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech.

What You Bring

  • 1–7 years of experience as an attorney.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, technology transactions, or other transactional work is required.
  • A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and superior academic credentials.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with technology industries, regulatory policy, or enforcement is desirable.
  • CIPP certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $225,000–$420,000, based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
