Position overview

Our client is seeking a Dallas-based associate to work on complex financing matters for both lenders and borrowers. This opportunity offers meaningful responsibility for structuring, drafting, and managing deals, along with significant client interaction in a collaborative team environment.

The Work

  • Represent lenders and borrowers in complex leveraged finance transactions, contributing across the deal lifecycle.
  • Work on asset-based lending financings, including reserve-based lending (RBL) transactions.
  • Help structure financing transactions and develop deal terms in collaboration with clients and the deal team.
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents, taking on high-level responsibility for the work.
  • Manage deal processes and coordinate transaction work while maintaining significant client contact.

What You Bring

  • Three to six years of experience in financial markets or related financing work; candidates must have at least three years of experience.
  • Large law firm experience representing lenders and borrowers in complex financing transactions.
  • Experience with leveraged finance transactions.
  • Experience with asset-based lending, including reserve-based lending, is relevant to the practice.
  • Ability to assume significant structuring, drafting, and deal management responsibilities.
  • Comfort with substantial client interaction and working effectively in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated compensation is $260,000–$390,000, based on the 2026 Cravath base scale; this is an estimate, not firm-stated compensation.
