Join a Seattle litigation team handling sophisticated commercial disputes in state and federal courts, arbitration, and other resolution forums. This role offers direct client interaction, meaningful responsibility across the life of a case, and the chance to help develop practical strategies for complex matters.
The Work
- Manage and support matters from early fact investigation and legal research through pleadings, discovery, hearings, and trial preparation, helping shape case development at each stage.
- Draft and argue substantive motions, prepare legal analysis, and contribute to appellate briefing when needed.
- Conduct and defend depositions, manage document discovery, and coordinate with e-discovery platforms and vendors.
- Work directly with clients and partners to develop litigation strategy and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
- Handle communications with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and internal case teams throughout active disputes.
- Contribute to trial preparation and participate in arbitration and other dispute-resolution proceedings.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to junior associates and paralegals as appropriate, and support client-service and business-development initiatives.
What You Bring
- Two to four years of relevant litigation experience at a law firm, through a clerkship, or in a comparable legal environment.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in Washington, or the ability to waive in promptly.
- Experience managing discovery, drafting motions, and handling court appearances.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Strong academic credentials and a commitment to excellent client service.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual salary range is $225,000–$330,000, with pay adjusted based on job-related factors; eligible full-time employees may also receive an annual discretionary bonus and access to a comprehensive benefits package.
