Position overview

Our client is seeking an associate or counsel with at least three years of law firm experience to join its Energy & Infrastructure Projects practice in New York City. The work brings together financing, transactions, and project development across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

The Work

  • Advise on debt financings for energy and infrastructure projects, contributing strong financing experience to complex transactions.
  • Work on tax equity financings and related structures supporting energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Participate in mergers and acquisitions involving energy and infrastructure assets and businesses.
  • Advise on joint ventures, including the arrangements through which project participants collaborate and invest.
  • Support project development transactions, working across legal issues associated with bringing energy and infrastructure projects forward.
  • Deliver high-quality work product and responsive service to clients across a mix of financing, transactional, and development matters.

What You Bring

  • At least three years of law firm experience; candidates with approximately three to six years of experience are sought.
  • Strong financing experience is required.
  • Experience with debt financings and tax equity financings involving energy or infrastructure projects is ideal.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project development transactions is ideal.
  • A record of high academic achievement.
  • A commitment to producing high-quality work and providing excellent client service.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated starting base salary is $260,000–$455,000, with potential eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus.
