A Dallas litigation practice handling high-stakes matters for sophisticated clients around the globe is seeking an associate with 3–6 years of experience. The work spans class actions, commercial disputes, and financial restructuring litigation, with an emphasis on clients’ business objectives and practical outcomes.
The Work
- Draft and respond to complaints in commercial litigation matters, helping advance cases from the pleading stage.
- Handle discovery work as part of the broader development and presentation of litigation matters.
- Prepare motions and contribute to motion practice in complex commercial disputes.
- Work on matters through trials and appeals, with experience across the litigation lifecycle.
- Contribute to class action, commercial, and financial restructuring litigation for sophisticated clients.
- Support advice on regulatory and compliance issues and pursue litigation when a business resolution cannot be achieved.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of experience in class action, commercial, and financial restructuring litigation.
- Experience with all aspects of commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Stellar academic credentials.
- Comparable law firm experience.
