Position overview

A Dallas practice is seeking a Securities Regulation & Corporate Governance Associate with 2–6 years of experience. The associate will advise public companies on corporate governance matters and securities regulation, including Exchange Act disclosure requirements and governance issues in initial public offerings.

The Work

  • Advise public companies on corporate governance standards and related governance matters.
  • Work on governance issues arising in initial public offerings, applying corporate governance principles to IPO matters.
  • Counsel clients on securities regulation matters, including Exchange Act disclosure requirements.
  • Research legal and regulatory questions affecting public-company governance and securities disclosure.
  • Prepare clear, well-supported written analysis and guidance for client matters involving governance and securities regulation.

What You Bring

  • 2–6 years of relevant legal experience; candidates from law school class years 2020–2024 are sought.
  • Experience advising public companies on corporate governance matters.
  • Experience with corporate governance standards and governance matters in initial public offerings.
  • Experience advising on securities regulation matters, including Exchange Act disclosure requirements.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Demonstrated strong legal writing and research skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated annual compensation range is $235,000–$390,000, with the salary offered based on qualifications and operational considerations.
