A confidential opportunity is available for a Real Estate Associate with three to five years of experience to join a real estate practice in Washington, DC. Candidates may be based in any of the practice’s U.S. offices. The role calls for strong real estate transaction skills, sound academic credentials, and experience at a comparable law firm.
The Work
- Represent clients in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, helping move transactions forward from document preparation and negotiation through completion.
- Draft and negotiate material definitive documents for real estate matters, with responsibility for producing and advancing key transaction documents.
- Handle leasing matters, including negotiating lease documents and working directly with clients on their real estate needs.
- Support general contracting matters through drafting, review, and negotiation of material agreements.
- Interface directly with clients and contribute to the progress of matters across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and contracting.
- Work on hyperscaler data center leasing, construction, and development matters where relevant; prior experience in this area is a plus.
