Our client is seeking mid-level and senior Real Estate associates to join a prominent, growing team in Irvine, California. The opportunity may suit attorneys with experience in one or more core transactional areas, as well as strong candidates whose transactional background is outside real estate.
The Work
- Work on mortgage and mezzanine debt matters for lenders and/or borrowers, contributing to transactions from the perspective of the applicable party.
- Support joint-venture equity work, including matters involving real estate investment and ownership arrangements.
- Handle real estate acquisitions and dispositions, with responsibilities shaped by experience and the needs of the team.
- Contribute to real estate development matters as part of a growing transactional practice.
- Apply relevant transactional experience to a range of real estate matters; candidates with non-real-estate transactional backgrounds will also be considered.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of legal experience, with consideration for mid-level and senior associates.
- Experience in one or more of mortgage or mezzanine debt, joint-venture equity, acquisitions and dispositions, or development.
- Transactional experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in mortgage or mezzanine debt matters is relevant.
- Experience with real estate joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, or development is relevant.
- Strong candidates with transactional experience outside real estate are encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual compensation range is $260,000–$435,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations, with health care, retirement benefits, paid sick and vacation time, parental leave, basic life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, and discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
