Position overview

Our client is seeking a Real Estate Associate with three to five years of experience to join its real estate practice in Philadelphia. The associate will work across acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and general contracting matters, with opportunities to draft and negotiate significant transaction documents and interface directly with clients.

The Work

  • Advise on real estate acquisitions and dispositions, contributing to transaction execution and the preparation and negotiation of material definitive documents.
  • Support leasing matters by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating lease documents and addressing client requirements throughout the process.
  • Work on general contracting matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements that support real estate projects.
  • Interface directly with clients, helping address transaction questions and coordinate the legal work required to advance matters.
  • Contribute to hyperscaler data center leasing, construction, and development matters where relevant; experience in this area is a plus.

What You Bring

  • Three to five years of experience practicing real estate law.
  • Experience with real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Experience handling leasing matters and drafting and negotiating lease documents.
  • Experience with general contracting matters and material definitive documents.
  • Strong academic credentials and experience at a comparable law firm.
  • Experience with hyperscaler data center leasing, construction, or development is a plus.

Why Consider It

The role offers a varied real estate practice spanning acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and general contracting, rather than a narrow matter mix.

Associates can take on substantive drafting and negotiation work and interface directly with clients.

The practice also handles hyperscaler data center leasing, construction, and development matters, providing relevant exposure for candidates with experience in this specialized area.
