Position overview

Our client is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its corporate practice group in Washington, D.C. The role involves project development and finance work, with significant involvement in M&A, financing, debt finance and renewable energy transactions preferred.

The Work

  • Contribute as an associate to project development and project finance matters within the corporate practice group.
  • Participate in M&A transactions, supporting deal work through the stages assigned to the associate team.
  • Work on financing transactions, including matters involving debt finance.
  • Assist with renewable energy transactions as part of the group’s corporate and project-related work.
  • Build experience across a range of transaction types, with significant involvement in relevant matters preferred for candidates.

What You Bring

  • Three to six years of relevant experience, consistent with a mid- to senior-level associate position.
  • Experience in project development and/or project finance.
  • Experience with M&A, financing transactions, debt finance and renewable energy transactions is preferred.
  • Stellar academic credentials.
  • Experience at a law firm with a comparable practice and level of work.

Compensation & Benefits

The supplied compensation figure of $260,000–$390,000 is an estimate based on the 2026 Cravath base scale, not firm-stated compensation.
