Our client is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its corporate practice in New York City. The role offers significant involvement in project development and finance work, with related matters spanning M&A, financing transactions, debt finance, and renewable energy.
The Work
- Contribute significantly to M&A transactions as part of the corporate practice’s broader transactional work.
- Work on financing transactions, participating in matters from the perspective of a project development and finance practice.
- Assist with debt finance matters as part of a varied transactional workload.
- Participate in renewable energy transactions, an identified area of preferred experience for the role.
- Build experience across connected M&A, financing, debt finance, and renewable energy matters rather than focusing on a single transaction category.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of relevant legal experience, at a mid- to senior-associate level.
- Comparable law firm experience is required.
- Strong academic credentials are required.
- Experience with project development and project finance work relevant to the corporate practice.
- Significant involvement in M&A transactions is preferred.
- Experience with financing transactions and debt finance is preferred.
- Experience with renewable energy transactions is preferred.
