Our client is seeking a junior associate from the class of 2025 to join its Private Equity group in Boston. The practice works on private M&A and growth equity transactions, and the associate will support diligence, ancillary workstreams, and the organization of signing and closing processes.
The Work
- Support private M&A and growth equity transactions, contributing to the legal work and coordination needed to move matters forward.
- Assist with diligence processes, including tracking and organizing diligence work as part of transaction execution.
- Contribute to ancillary transaction workstreams and coordinate related process requirements.
- Help organize signing and closing processes, keeping transaction steps and related workstreams moving toward completion.
- Communicate proactively and help manage working relationships with internal and external clients and counsel.
What You Bring
- Associate from the class of 2025, with approximately one year of experience.
- Some experience with private M&A or growth equity transactions, or a demonstrated interest in these practices.
- Basic understanding of the diligence process and its role in private transactions.
- Familiarity with ancillary transaction workstreams and signing and closing processes.
- Good judgment and proactive communication skills.
- Ability to manage relationships with internal and external clients and counsel.
