Position overview

Our client is seeking a junior associate with 3–6 years of experience to join a Boston Debt Finance practice. The role involves representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in term and revolving loan facilities.

The Work

  • Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in financing transactions, taking part in the documentation and negotiation process.
  • Work on term and revolving loan facilities supporting leveraged buyouts, including credit agreement and commitment paper work.
  • Assist with acquisition financings by preparing and negotiating financing documentation for transactions involving private equity sponsors and lenders.
  • Support corporate growth financings through the drafting and negotiation of loan facility documents.
  • Draft and negotiate collateral agreements and related deliverables, coordinating the documentation needed to complete financings.

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in debt finance or a closely related transactional practice.
  • Experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and/or private credit lenders in financing matters.
  • Experience with term and revolving loan facilities.
  • Working knowledge of credit agreements and commitment papers.
  • Demonstrated drafting and negotiation experience with collateral agreements and related deliverables.
  • Experience with leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and/or corporate growth financings.

Compensation & Benefits

The available compensation figure is an estimate of $260,000–$390,000 based on the 2026 Cravath base scale, not a confirmed firm-stated range.
