Position overview

Our client is seeking a junior associate with 3–6 years of experience to join a New York City debt finance practice focused on private equity-related financing. The work includes representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in a range of leveraged and corporate financings.

The Work

  • Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in term and revolving loan facilities.
  • Work on financing transactions for leveraged buyouts, including the preparation and negotiation of key credit documentation.
  • Advise on acquisition financings and corporate growth financings, with responsibility for transaction documents and related deliverables.
  • Draft and negotiate credit agreements and commitment papers in connection with debt financing transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate collateral agreements and coordinate related financing deliverables.

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of experience in debt finance or a closely related transactional practice.
  • Experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and/or private credit lenders in financing transactions.
  • Experience with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, or corporate growth.
  • Familiarity with credit agreements and commitment papers.
  • Ability to draft and negotiate collateral agreements and related transaction deliverables.

Compensation & Benefits

The supplied base salary estimate is $260,000–$390,000, derived from the 2026 Cravath base scale; it is an estimate and has not been confirmed as the client’s compensation range.
