Our client is seeking a junior associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its debt finance practice in Redwood City. The role involves representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in a range of financing transactions and working directly with the core credit and collateral documentation.
The Work
- Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities.
- Work on debt financing for leveraged buyouts, including the related credit documentation and transaction deliverables.
- Support acquisition financings, addressing the financing documentation associated with acquisition transactions.
- Advise on financing for corporate growth, including drafting and negotiating credit agreements and related materials.
- Review and negotiate commitment papers and translate financing terms into transaction documentation.
- Draft and negotiate collateral agreements and related deliverables across sponsor-side and lender-side matters.
What You Bring
- 3–6 years of experience in debt finance or a closely related transactional practice.
- Experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and/or private credit lenders in financing transactions.
- Knowledge of term and revolving loan facilities, including facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, or corporate growth.
- Experience working with credit agreements and commitment papers.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate collateral agreements and related transaction deliverables.
