Our client is seeking a junior associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Debt Finance group in Los Angeles. The practice represents private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders in financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth financings.
The Work
- Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth.
- Work on credit agreements and commitment papers for debt financing transactions, contributing to the development and negotiation of core financing terms.
- Draft and negotiate collateral agreements that support the loan facilities and reflect the requirements of the relevant transaction.
- Prepare and negotiate related financing deliverables, coordinating the documentation needed to support transaction execution.
- Engage with sponsor-side or lender-side clients on financing matters, drawing on experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of experience in debt finance or a closely related practice.
- Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks or private credit lenders in financing transactions.
- Experience with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, or corporate growth.
- Familiarity with credit agreements and commitment papers.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate collateral agreements and related transaction deliverables.

Compensation & Benefits
Estimated base compensation is $260,000–$390,000, based on the 2026 Cravath base scale; this range is an estimate rather than firm-stated compensation.
