A San Francisco litigation practice is seeking a mid-level or senior associate with approximately 3–6 years of experience to join its Complex Litigation Practice Group. The team handles sensitive, high-stakes disputes and works across offices as a multidisciplinary group on complex matters.
The Work
- Work collaboratively with lawyers across offices to develop and resolve sensitive, complex, and high-stakes disputes.
- Contribute to precedent-setting litigation spanning the commercial landscape, applying rigorous legal analysis to challenging issues.
- Prepare written advocacy and case materials, including legal research, analysis, and drafting for litigation matters.
- Participate in case preparation through hearings, trial work, and proceedings before courts or arbitrators, as appropriate to experience.
- Take and defend depositions and contribute to the development of factual records and litigation strategy.
- Work on privacy litigation and consumer protection class action matters when those matters arise; this experience is preferred but not required.
- Engage with clients and the litigation team as matters progress from case development through resolution.
What You Bring
- Approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience, consistent with a mid-level or senior litigation associate profile.
- Strong legal analysis and writing skills.
- Excellent academic credentials and professional references.
- Experience in complex litigation; privacy litigation and consumer protection class action experience is preferred, but not required.
- Trial experience, including performing at trial, is preferred.
- Experience arguing matters before courts or arbitrators is preferred.
- Experience taking and defending depositions is preferred.
- Must be currently licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in California.

Compensation & Benefits
