Position overview

Our client is seeking an attorney to join its corporate practice group and work on power purchase agreements, offtake arrangements, and related agreements. The role is available in Los Angeles, with Houston, New York, Washington, D.C., and Chicago also identified as potential office locations.

The Work

  • Draft power purchase agreements and offtake arrangements, developing agreement language for matters within this focused practice.
  • Negotiate PPA and offtake agreement terms and work through revisions as transactions progress.
  • Advise on power purchase and offtake arrangements, including legal issues arising in connection with the agreements.
  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on agreements related to PPAs and offtake arrangements.
  • Contribute to corporate practice matters centered on the structuring and documentation of power offtake arrangements.

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of legal experience is preferred.
  • Experience with power purchase agreements is sought.
  • Experience with offtake arrangements is sought.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate PPAs, offtake arrangements, and related agreements.
  • Experience advising on PPAs, offtake arrangements, or related agreements.
