Our client is seeking an attorney with at least three years of experience in power purchase agreements and offtake arrangements to join its corporate practice. The position may be based in Houston or, for candidates residing elsewhere, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., or Chicago.
The Work
- Draft power purchase agreements and offtake arrangements, contributing to the preparation of core transaction documents.
- Negotiate PPA and offtake agreement terms and work through revisions as agreements progress.
- Advise on PPAs, offtake arrangements, and related agreements, applying relevant experience to the issues raised by each matter.
- Work across the drafting, negotiation, and advisory components of agreements involving power purchases and offtake.
What You Bring
- At least three years of experience is preferred.
- Experience with power purchase agreements (PPAs) and offtake arrangements.
- Demonstrated ability to draft PPA, offtake, or related agreements.
- Experience negotiating agreement terms and revisions.
- Ability to advise on PPAs, offtake arrangements, and related agreements.
