Our client is seeking an attorney with experience in power purchase agreements and off-take arrangements to join its corporate practice group in New York City. Attorneys with three or more years of experience are preferred. The work focuses on drafting, negotiating, and advising on these arrangements and related agreements.
The Work
- Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements, contributing legal and commercial terms to the development of these arrangements.
- Work on off-take agreements, applying relevant experience to the preparation and negotiation of agreement provisions.
- Advise on agreements related to PPAs and off-take arrangements, assessing legal issues arising from the associated documents.
- Support the corporate practice group’s work in this focused area by bringing experience in drafting, negotiation, and advice on relevant agreements.
What You Bring
- At least three years of legal experience is preferred.
- Experience with power purchase agreements and off-take arrangements.
- Ability to draft and negotiate PPAs and off-take agreements.
- Experience advising on related agreements.
- Strong legal analysis and written communication skills relevant to agreement drafting and advice.
