Our client is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its patent litigation team in Jacksonville, Florida. The practice handles sophisticated patent matters for clients across technology, financial services, manufacturing, and other sectors.
The Work
- Contribute to offensive and defensive patent litigation, helping clients pursue or protect their commercial interests in complex disputes.
- Work on competitor-versus-competitor patent matters, supporting litigation designed to advance clients’ business goals.
- Assist with the defense of patent lawsuits brought by non-practicing entities, helping clients navigate these matters cost-effectively.
- Engage with patent disputes involving telecommunications providers, computer software and hardware companies, financial institutions, and manufacturers.
- Collaborate with intellectual property lawyers, including team members with engineering and scientific backgrounds, to address cases involving complex technologies.
What You Bring
- 3-6 years of legal experience, consistent with a junior- or mid-level associate position.
- Experience in patent litigation or a background that supports work on patent disputes.
- Ability to contribute to offensive and defensive patent matters, including competitor disputes and non-practicing-entity defense.
- Capacity to engage with complex technical subject matter and apply it in a litigation setting.
- Interest or experience in matters involving technology, financial services, or manufacturing clients.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for this search is estimated at $260,000-$390,000 based on the 2026 Cravath base scale; this is an estimate, not firm-stated compensation.
