Position overview

Our client is seeking a junior or mid-level Patent Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Los Angeles patent litigation team. The practice handles sophisticated patent disputes for clients across a wide range of industries, offering both offensive and defensive litigation representation.

The Work

  • Contribute to offensive and defensive patent litigation matters, helping address complex legal and technical issues on behalf of clients.
  • Work on competitor-versus-competitor patent disputes and cases involving the defense of lawsuits brought by non-practicing entities.
  • Support the development and handling of patent disputes involving commercially valuable ideas, information, and technology.
  • Engage with matters involving telecommunications providers, computer software and hardware providers, financial institutions, and manufacturers.
  • Help deliver litigation solutions designed to address complex cases effectively and cost-consciously for clients.

What You Bring

  • Three to six years of experience, consistent with a junior or mid-level associate position.
  • Experience or a strong practice focus in patent litigation.
  • Ability to contribute to both offensive and defensive patent disputes.
  • Capability to work through complex legal and technical issues in litigation matters.
  • Interest or experience in disputes involving technology sectors such as telecommunications, software, hardware, financial services, or manufacturing.

Compensation & Benefits

The firm-stated salary range is $235,000–$410,000.
