Our client is seeking a corporate associate to advise innovative technology and life sciences companies as they launch, raise capital, grow and pursue strategic opportunities. Work directly with founders, management teams and investors, building relationships that can span a company’s full life cycle.
The Work
- Counsel emerging growth companies on day-to-day corporate, governance and business matters, helping address the legal issues that arise as their operations and teams evolve.
- Represent companies and investors in venture capital financings and other equity transactions, working on matters that support companies at different stages of development.
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, including matters connected to company growth and potential exits.
- Work directly with founders, executives, boards and management teams, providing practical advice and, in some relationships, serving as an outside general counsel resource.
- Develop an understanding of clients’ businesses and provide ongoing guidance across formation, early-stage financings, growth and strategic transactions.
What You Bring
- Four to six years of corporate law experience.
- Meaningful experience in one or more of venture capital, private equity, capital markets or mergers and acquisitions.
- Interest in advising technology and life sciences companies and the people building them.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with clients and communicate legal and business considerations clearly.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial approach, sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills suited to a fast-paced environment.
- A technical or science degree is not required.
Why Consider It
This practice combines hands-on corporate work with direct relationships with founders, executives, boards and investors.
Rather than focusing only on discrete deals, associates can advise clients through multiple stages, from incorporation and early financing to growth, strategic transactions and exit.

The stated salary range is $310,000–$390,000 based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
Benefits include family-building support, paid parental leave, wellness resources, healthcare coverage, a 401(k), and firm-paid CLE and bar expenses.
