Position overview

Our client is seeking a Los Angeles attorney with 3–6 years of litigation experience to take meaningful responsibility for complex disputes. The role offers direct client interaction, collaboration across offices and practice groups, and involvement in matters from investigation and discovery through resolution.

The Work

  • Manage substantive aspects of complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, exercising meaningful ownership while working with a collaborative team.
  • Research legal and factual issues and draft pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, dispositive motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Coordinate discovery, including e-discovery processes and document review, and participate in fact investigations, witness interviews, and depositions.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal teams, and contribute to strategic, client-focused solutions.
  • Support trial preparation and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Work on business disputes, class actions, regulatory matters, and other high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts, serving clients across a variety of industries.
  • Collaborate across offices and practice groups and contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives.

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of relevant litigation experience at a law firm or in a comparable legal environment; the role is aimed at candidates with 3–6 years of experience.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice in California or eligibility to waive into the California Bar.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery, including e-discovery processes.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle substantive work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to client service.
  • Ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated annual salary range is $225,000–$330,000, with actual pay adjusted based on job-related factors.

Full-time employees may be eligible for comprehensive benefits, and attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation annually, with 11 paid holidays; an annual discretionary bonus may also be available to eligible full-time employees.
