Join a collaborative legal team advising clients from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies across technology, life sciences, green energy, and cleantech. The work spans consequential disputes, practical workforce counseling, investigations, and corporate transactions.
The Work
- Represent employers in employment litigation, including matters with significant business stakes.
- Counsel clients on day-to-day employment issues such as terminations, leaves of absence, reductions in force, and the review and creation of workplace policies.
- Advise on employee mobility matters involving trade secrets, non-competes, and employee solicitation.
- Conduct and support internal investigations involving employment-related issues.
- Provide employment advice in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including matters involving spin-outs.
- Work with clients across a broad range of growth stages, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies, and industries including technology, life sciences, green energy, and cleantech.
What You Bring
- Two years of experience exclusively in management-side employment law litigation and counseling.
- Experience working on several employment litigation matters.
- Experience providing day-to-day employment advice to clients on issues such as terminations, leaves, reductions in force, and policies.
- Experience advising on employment mobility matters, including trade secrets, non-competes, and employee solicitation.
- Experience advising on employment-related matters in mergers and acquisitions or other corporate transactions.
- Admission to the New York Bar and ability to be resident and physically present in the New York office.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
