Our client is seeking a San Francisco-based mid-level associate to join a dynamic, growing practice handling complex, innovative technology transactions for prominent companies across technology, consumer products, entertainment, and life sciences.
The Work
- Handle transactional matters focused on intellectual property and technology, contributing to complex and innovative deals.
- Research and analyze issues arising in technology-focused transactions, using sound judgment and creative problem-solving.
- Develop clear written work product to support transactional matters and help address sophisticated legal questions.
- Take ownership of assigned work while working independently and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Contribute to matters involving prominent companies in technology, consumer products, entertainment, and life sciences.
What You Bring
- At least three years of experience handling transactional matters, with a focus on intellectual property and technology transactions.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and creatively while contributing successfully as part of a team.
- Technology or life sciences sector experience is preferred.
- An undergraduate or advanced degree, or work experience, in computer science, electrical engineering, life sciences, or another technology-related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent academic credentials and references.
- Currently licensed, or eligible to become licensed, in the jurisdiction where applying.
